Tampereen Pyrintö is one of Finland's largest and most successful junior basketball clubs, with over 700 juniors participating in its activities weekly. [16] The club offers basketball for children and youth, starting from the Pikkusudet basketball school for children as young as 2 years old, and provides coaching for all age groups. [4, 11] The club's teams serve as a springboard for players up to the national team level. [16]
