Welcome to play and meet other families with children in the area at Isoneva leikkipuisto's Family Morning! During the Family Morning, we'll play, sing, and create art with changing themes. In the leikkipuisto, children will find playmates, and parents will have the opportunity to meet other families with children. We have facilities suitable for childcare and eating. We also plan our activities according to families' wishes and ideas – please tell your wishes to a staff member.
Self-directed play for the whole family, for all ages. In the 'Today We Play!' session, children and adults can immerse themselves in the world of play and imagination. Adults and children together build inviting play environments: a shop, a harbor, a home play area, animal nests, and much more. Children will find playmates, and while they play, parents can get to know other families with children. Children and parents can participate in planning and implementing activities with the session leaders. There's a possibility to warm up your own food and make coffee/tea. The family house also has suitable facilities for changing diapers. Address: Haukilahdenkuja 3. We use the premises in cooperation with päiväkoti Viola; the family house has its own entrance. Note! Prams can be left in the fenced area under a canopy in the inner courtyard (shared with päiväkoti Viola). We are open Mon-Fri from 9 AM to 4 PM. You can always come to play and enjoy yourself according to your own schedule.
Dance and play – Workshop for children aged 1.5–3, and their adults (FI/ENG)
Welcome to the world of dance and play in Caisa on Mondays at 9:15 and 10:15! Workshops on Mondays, 14 September–7 December Workshop 1: 9:15–10:00. Workshop 2: 10:15–11:00 We will not be holding workshops on Monday, 12 October, during the autumn holiday week and on 2nd November. The dance and play workshops introduce children to the world of dance through movement, music and play. The workshop is aimed at toddlers aged 1–3 and their adults. Participating toddlers should be already able to walk. Suitable for participants with varied ableness, including those with special needs. Older siblings are welcome to join. In the workshop, children play, communicate and express themselves through movement and dance. Movement acts as a common language for everyone. The workshops are designed to take into account the individual needs of the participants as part of a social group situation. The goal is to develop social relationships with their peers, and to find new ways of interacting with their own adult. The positive experiences created in a safe and friendly atmosphere help participants learn new skills. The workshop is directed by Vera Lapitskaya, dance artist and inclusive dance instructor. Language of instruction: Finnish (English, Russian, Spanish if necessary) Participation: The workshop is free of charge. You can participate in the workshop whenever it suits you: each time, or just sometimes. Choose a time that suits you and please arrive on time. The 'Today We Meet' café is a meeting place for cultures for all baby and child families. In guided sessions, children learn language in a fun and diverse way through fairy tales, songs, and rhymes. Adults have the opportunity to practice their Finnish language skills. Lampi playground's exercise moment every Monday, for 0-6-year-olds together with a parent. We move with changing toys and themes — obstacle courses, cycling, snow games, and much more! Session leaders are there for the children. Weather permitting, the session is held in the yard of Leikkipuisto Lampi at Leikkikuja 4. In this lively circus session, you'll do tricks together with your baby or toddler. Children will enjoy the thrill of speed and slow, gentle moments. Songs, rhymes, and games make the circus session a fun time together, and colorful circus props spark curiosity. The session is suitable for children aged 4 months to 2 years. The sessions are free of charge. Playgrounds and family houses have facilities for care and the possibility to warm up food or breastfeed. The Ilo liikkua exercise sessions are movement activities for children and their parents. The goal of the exercise is to find joy in movement and strengthen the interaction between child and parent. At the same time, we'll get to know different exercise equipment, practice motor skills, and learn to function in a group. Pre-registration is required for the group, and one session lasts about 6 weeks. Registration for the next exercise groups is in December, and new groups start in January 2027.
