Gaming hobby group for Minecraft adventurers for 3.-6. graders

In the Minecraft gaming groups, you’ll jump into the untamed and unpredictable wilderness of Minecraft with nothing but fellow gamers to rely on and face all the challenges posed by the game together with others! Everyone is welcome to hobby groups regardless of their language skills, functional capacity or past hobbies. We want to support the child’s participation in the best possible way. When registering, please let us know about the child’s support needs or other things that we need to take into account. This allows the hobby organiser to address children’s different needs. The Espoo Hobby Path offers popular, free-of-charge hobbies for children in grades 3–9, arranged after school days at school premises, near the school or via remote connection. The Espoo Hobby Path is a way of implementing the Finnish model for leisure activities in Espoo. The principles of a safer space are applied in the hobby groups.

Connectoria – Uniting Cultures and Generations

These events are known for their exceptionally warm atmosphere, where new connections and friendships are formed across cultural and age boundaries. 23 October Hope Lives Here Hope is more than wishing for a better tomorrow. It is found in the things we choose to build, the people we encourage, the opportunities we create, and the small steps we take even when the future is uncertain. We invite you to pause and reflect. What has kept you going? What are you dreaming of? What would you love to see change in your life and in the communities we share? This is a space for our stories, our ideas, our aspirations, and our belief that a better future is possible when we make room for one another. Hope is not just something we carry within us. It is something we can create together. 27 November, 18 December, Welcome to join us! #helloespoo

Annantalo Art Saturday: Moon Flight

Annantalo Art Saturdays allow the whole family to spend time together enjoying art in open workshops – stop by briefly or stay for a longer visit. Have you ever taken a closer look at the moon on a clear night? What sort of patterns can be seen on the moon’s surface? The participants sketch their ideas of what kind of patterns might be seen on the surface of the moon. We draw inspiration from sources such as a flight to the dark side of the moon, a potion-making hare, and how each person sees the patterns on the moon’s surface. The collage is made from cardboard and tissue paper in shades of yellow. The works created during the workshop will be displayed in the facade windows of Annantalo. Moon Flight is one of the workshops linked to the jointly created ‘Spectrum’ artwork In autumn 2026, Annantalo’s workshops and art groups will create a collaborative light art installation entitled Spectrum. This workshop is one of many in which different parts of the work are created. Come and make your contribution to the window installations to be displayed on the Annankatu side, glowing in the different colours of the spectrum. The opening ceremony for the Spectrum light installation will be held on 9 December at 18.00, illuminating the windows of Annantalo in a blaze of colour. Come and join us in building our shared spectrum! No prior skills are needed to participate, and all are welcome. Hearing protection and other sensory aids are available for children when needed. There is also a quiet room in the premises. Annantalo Art Saturdays are free-of-charge and suitable for participants from all language backgrounds. The workshop will be hosted by Annantalo art educators. We look forward to seeing you at Annantalo on Saturdays!
