Hey, parent of a small child! Here, you and your child can, in a way suitable for them, get to know other children, God, and themselves. Welcome to join! Children's Church is a special time for children during the 10 AM Sunday service. The activity takes place at Tikkurila church, in Pienten paikka (Asematie 12 a). In Children's Church, we sing, play, learn about Bible stories, pray, and color. We spend some time together and wonder about life from a child's perspective. Children under 4 participate in Children's Church with their own adult. When coming to the service, families can first go into the church together. Children's Church begins after the day's prayer and ends when communion starts, at which point the children return to the service. Children's Church is led by trained volunteers.
Welcome to Sunday School at Rekola church. In Sunday School, we go through Bible stories with an adult Sunday School teacher, craft, sing, and play. Sunday School meets at Rekola church (Kustaantie 22) in the day club facilities on Sundays at 10 AM during the church service. Exceptions to this are holidays and family services, during which there is no Sunday School.
The Kipinä community invites you to eat together! Christians have always considered fellowship over meals important, and indeed it is: a shared meal nourishes the entire being of God's child, not just the body. So come and eat together. Food that children will enjoy is available in Tuira Church's parish hall from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM, and with a full stomach, it's good to continue to the evening mass, which starts in the church hall at 6:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to eat together - we especially invite families with children!

Welcome to start your week at the family club! The Hintta family club meets every Monday in Hintta's cozy attic for fun games and good company. Morning coffee and a small snack are provided. You can come to the family club according to your own schedule, and no registration is needed. Family activity leaders Eini and Päivi will be there with you.
Self-directed play for the whole family, for all ages. In the 'Today We Play!' session, children and adults can immerse themselves in the world of play and imagination. Adults and children together build inviting play environments: a shop, a harbor, a home play area, animal nests, and much more. Children will find playmates, and while they play, parents can get to know other families with children. Children and parents can participate in planning and implementing activities with the session leaders. There's a possibility to warm up your own food and make coffee/tea. The family house also has suitable facilities for changing diapers. Address: Haukilahdenkuja 3. We use the premises in cooperation with päiväkoti Viola; the family house has its own entrance. Note! Prams can be left in the fenced area under a canopy in the inner courtyard (shared with päiväkoti Viola). We are open Mon-Fri from 9 AM to 4 PM. You can always come to play and enjoy yourself according to your own schedule.
Family clubs offer shared activities for adults and children. Welcome to the Family Day! You can come to the club whenever you want, no registration is needed. Breakfast is served at the Family Day for 3€ per family.
Playmates at Hurttivuori on Mondays from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM (Punatulkunkatu 1). We play, have coffee, and chat. Playmates operates with volunteers. For more information, contact Janita (janita.palmu@gmail.com). You can join the WhatsApp group through Janita if you wish. In June, there are still club sessions on June 8th and June 15th. After the summer break, autumn club activities: August 17th, 2026 - December 14th, 2026.
You can come and go as you please at the family café. At Kivistön church, the family café is open on Mondays from 9:30 AM to 11 AM. It's a meeting place where you don't need to register in advance. There's a program for both children and adults. Parents, grandparents, and family daycare providers are welcome with children. The session leaders are Satu Karonen and Satu Vähäkotamäki. The family café will be closed on Monday, October 12th, during the autumn holiday week.

The Firstborns' Club is for families with their first child under 1.5 years old. It's a place for new parents to catch up, discuss concerns, share experiences, and enjoy parenthood together. No advance registration is needed, and it's free of charge. Coffee and biscuits are available at the club. You can also bring your own snacks if you wish, and there are facilities to warm baby food. The club operates at Wirkkula (Kirkkotie 10D). Please enter through the left-hand door of the old school building. The club meets once a week on Mondays from 10 AM to 12 PM, starting August 31st and continuing until May. School holidays are also holidays for the Firstborns' Club.
