Rytmis is a shared musical moment for children and adults, where we sing and make music together. It's for children to attend with their own adult. Each session lasts about 30 minutes and is free of charge. Older siblings are also welcome. The sessions are led by the parish's early childhood education instructors. This activity runs from week 33 to week 50.
Welcome to listen to stories at Tapanila Library on Tuesdays of even-numbered weeks from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. During story time, we'll dive together into the world of fairy tales and stories. Everyone, big and small, is welcome! Please note: Open story times are intended for families and family daycare providers, but not for daycare centres. Story times for daycare groups must be booked via Kultus.
You can come and go as you please at the family café. The family café at Myyrmäen kirkko is open on Tuesdays from 9:30 AM to 11 AM. It's a meeting place where you don't need to register in advance, with activities for both children and adults. Parents, grandparents, and family daycare providers are all welcome with children. Mira Nattari-Jokisalo is the leader. Please note: the family café will be closed on Tuesday, October 13th, during the autumn holiday week.
Welcome to the baby and toddler meet-up on Tuesdays! Enjoy spending time together and getting to know other families. There are varied activity sessions from 10 AM to 10:30 AM.

The Music Family Club offers peer support and a connection to the parish for the little ones and their parents. Currently, the youngest children gather at a music day club held in cooperation with Harjun seurakunta at Pispalan kirkko. It's a music-focused meeting place for children and adults, held every Tuesday at 9:30 AM (the music session starts around 10 AM). Welcome!
Varied, easy outdoor games and exercise. During the outdoor exercise session, we'll play, do gymnastics, run, and play with balls. This session is for children who can already walk.
The Today We Meet café helps families from different language and cultural backgrounds connect. It's a fun place to practice Finnish and meet other families. Kids can find playmates. There are varied activities for both kids and adults: singing, playing, movement, stories, and art. The activities take place indoors at staffed playgrounds and family centres once a week, for about an hour at a time. Coffee/tea and a small snack are available.
At the playground's Story Time, we'll explore different stories and read together. Story Time is suitable for all ages. At the playground, there's also a chance to meet other families from the area. There's a chance to make coffee and warm up food.
All toddlers and their parents are welcome to the playground's Toddler Morning! In these sessions, we'll play, move, sing, do rhymes, be silly, explore, and learn. Parents have the chance to meet other families with children, and kids can find playmates. Parents and children can participate in planning and carrying out activities together with the leaders. There's a possibility to warm up your own food and make coffee/tea.
Here's the recurring program for the Baby Meet-up at FILPUS playground, happening every four weeks, from 10–11:30 AM, with a session at 10:45 AM: Song/Rhyme Session, Baby Circus Yoga, Neck and Back Exercises. Welcome!

Weather permitting, the session will be held in the yard of Leikkipuisto Lampi at Leikkikuja 4. In winter, the session moves indoors to Lampi at Sakara 3. Baby Mornings offer a chance to meet other parents and babies during your baby's first year. Guided activity sessions are designed to enhance early interaction and family well-being. Activities vary and may include music sessions, purée painting, and baby massage moments. Baby Mornings are held in Viikkari's red hall, with access from the Vaahterapiha side.
